Celebrating 21 Years of Elizabeth's Elite Cleaning

Today marks a special milestone—21 years since I started Elizabeths Elite Cleaning, Looking back, I’m proud to say that what began as a one-woman operation with just a few customers has grown into a thriving business with a fantastic team that covers a large area of the North East.

When I first started, it was just me, balancing full-time cleaning with two young children and two horses, all while meeting new customers in the evenings. Life was crazy, to say the least! But after 13 years, I decided to bring on some help to make things run a bit more smoothly, and that’s when Lorraine came into the picture. Lorraine joined the team, took on some of my hours, and has been an absolute rock ever since, and very lucky to still have her with me today, 8 years later!

From those early days, we've grown into a team of 14 amazing domestic cleaners. We've had a few crazy ones along the way (we live and learn 😅), but the team I have now is absolutely the backbone of the business. I’m incredibly grateful for each and every one of them—they make Elizabeths Elite Cleaning what it is today.

I’ve always been passionate about my business and providing high standards to our clients in the North East and that passion and drive is just as strong today as it was on day one. There’s nothing better than making a difference in people’s lives, helping them reclaim time in their busy schedules. It’s a joy to know we’re providing a service that really matters to people.

I’m also proud to say that I’m following in my mum’s footsteps. She owned her own employment agency when I was a child, and I like to think I’ve inherited her entrepreneurial spirit.
